All right. Now that I’ve thrown my fantasy wishlist for 2010 out there, I’m going to try to come up with a more reasonable list. Now, since I tend to be CDO about things, we shall see how well I do. Let me repost the list:
Lose 100 pounds
Become self-supporting and self-sufficient
Buy my own house
Get back [...]

I don’t make NY Resolutions, so this is not going to be about that. Instead, this is going to be about…well, you’ll see.
As I was driving back from the airport to my house, I felt some relief to be getting away from my family and the pernicious insidiousness of Taiwanese beliefs about women, family, etc. [...]

My friend, Rubo, and I have been have a FB/Yahoo Messenger conversation about love. Well, we were when I was actually on FB. I am taking a hiatus because the FB police are after me–again.
Anyway, she turned me on to a group named The Storys. They are a Welsh band, and I am totally addicted [...]

SMR made a point in the comment section of yesterday’s entry. First, she said that every day was a good day because Alan Rickman was alive. That was very kind of her because Alan Rickman is not attractive to her. She said it simply because she knows that I am totally gaga over him. That’s [...]

I have come upon a dichotomy within that I truly cannot explain. It’s been a slow realization, but now I must acknowledge it. I love Brits. Why is this a dichotomy? Because I hate their country. Now, that’s probably not fair of me because it was twelve and a half years ago that [...]

I’m in dire need of an intervention before I fall deeper into my current obsession. It shames me to say it, but I, a staunch supporter of equality and diversity and all that shit, am actually fetishizing a whole race of people. I feel like Huey Freeman felt in The Boondocks when he [...]

It never ends. That’s something Alan Rickman says in Dogma, and it’s true with my never-ending thirst for all things British. Correction: All things UK. I’m surprised I didn’t become hornier watching Liam Neeson in Kinsey as he’s an Irish lad as well, but he doesn’t do much for me. Neither does U2, [...]

With my obsession for all things Brit in general and for all things Alan Rickman specifically, I was worried that I might become a stalker. Oh, I’ve never stalked anyone before, but I’ve never had this strong a celeb crush before. It’s silly and it’s stupid, I know, but I feared that I [...]

So, just two days after I lifted my self-imposed political ban, I love nothing. Now, is there a correlation? Probably. To that end, here is the love song of the day. It’s All Out of Love by Air Supply–a particularly apt song for my mood, I think, if you take the title words literally. Hm. [...]
